In October 1989, Apostle Dave H. Johnson held his final crusade as an evangelist, marking the beginning of a new season of ministry. On November 10, 1989, Pastor Dave and Linda Johnson located the first home for Power Source Christian Center, Inc. — a small garage once used as an auto detail shop.​
With only $50 and a powerful vision from God, Pastor Dave and Co Pastor Linda, along with a handful of faithful believers, held their first service on Sunday night, November 19, 1989. The following Sunday morning, they began holding regular praise and worship services. From that moment forward, God began to draw people from every walk of life to be transformed by His Word.​​
The Power Source Family fervently prayed, consecrated, and dedicated that humble space to the glory of God — and He moved mightily! On February 18, 1990, Pastor Dave and Linda Johnson were officially installed as the head under-shepherds of this growing body of believers.​​
Over the years, God has continued to add, multiply, and bless this ministry beyond measure. Within the first year, the church experienced tremendous growth, and we continue to give God all the honor and glory for every victory and milestone achieved.​
Today, the Power Source Family stands as a vibrant testimony of faith, obedience, and perseverance. We have expanded our fellowship by adding churches under our covering, pressing toward the vision God gave Apostle Johnson — to establish 200 churches for His Kingdom.
Truly, God has been faithful to His promise!
As we look ahead, we pause to honor God for His greatness and reflect on how far He has brought us. We remain steadfast in our commitment to yield our will to Him, to be used for His glory, and to live lives fully dedicated to advancing His Kingdom.​

Our Pastors: Dave H. Johnson and Linda Johnson
During the spring of 1989, God began to stir the hearts of Evangelist Dave and Linda Johnson. For over fifteen years, they had faithfully served in the field of evangelism, traveling and ministering the gospel wherever the Lord led them. Yet in that season, God began to place a new mantle upon them — a higher calling that would birth a lasting ministry.​
As they sought the will of God through prayer and consecration, He revealed a powerful vision; one that would become Power Source Christian Center, Inc.
Power Source Christian Center was founded on the belief that people from all walks of life could come and experience true transformation through the power of God. Within this ministry:

The wounded and downtrodden are restored.

Yokes are broken, and God’s people are delivered.
Above all else, God declared, “Love people and extend My mercy... for you know they are precious in My sight.”​ This foundational word remains the heartbeat of Power Source Christian Center a place where lives are renewed, faith is strengthened, and love is the driving force behind all we do.
